Nameless Cove, Newfoundland

We have been out for 24 days and are still having new adventures!  Today we are in St. Anthony's, Newfoundland it's a clean up day and finding a whale watching tour to go on.  Our ferry ride yesterday was very exciting as we saw several pods of whales and dolphins.  The dolphins and  whales were jumping and spouting!  We were on the  front deck of the boat and everyone was cheering and clappng.  :)  Last night we stayed near a lighthouse in Nameless Cove, a spot which was recommended by Ron and his daughter Sandy.  They were on a four wheeler and took us right to the perfect spot to spend the night.  While there Irene and Judy came walking up and Irene grew up in the lighthouse with her ten siblings.  She told us the history and stories of her life at the lighthouse.  To end the evening during cocktail hour we saw several whales off shore!  It was definitely a great day!

Happy Travels!  Joni :)
